Baked sweets and Confectionery Buffet

Introducing the first buffet-style afternoon tea at NAMIKI667!
A sweets buffet featuring mainly baked sweets and confectionery incorporating Kumamoto Prefecture's specialties such as Japanese black tea, strawberries, citrus fruits, and sake will be served. Lotus root  chips with just the right amount of salt to enhance the sweetness of the lotus root are a perfect palate cleanser.
Approximately 10 varieties of items will be available from multiple menus.

Strawberry and Dekopon Citrus Tart

This crispy tart is filled with almond cream and dekopon citrus, then baked to perfect moistness. Filled with rich custard cream and topped with a generous amount of strawberries, the fresh aroma of dekopon and strawberries will spread in your mouth as you take a bite.

Strawberry and Amakusa Bankan Citrus Cream Puff

Crispy puff pastry topped with cookies, mixed with Amakusa mandarin orange jam, custard cream and fresh strawberries. The top is decorated with strawberries, an adorable dessert.

Strawberry and Lemon Shortcake

This refreshing shortcake is made with a moist sponge dough baked with organic sugar, soaked with fresh lemon juice from Kumamoto Prefecture, and sandwiched between whipped cream and strawberries. The fresh taste of the sour lemon is addictive.

Fruit Punch with Strawberries, Watermelon and Ginger

This sumptuous fruit punch combines Kumamoto Prefecture's prized ingredients such as strawberries, watermelon, and ginger in a soft, champagne-colored elderflower gelée. Carbonation is added before serving to enhance the individual flavors of the ingredients.

Japanese Black Tea and Strawberry Mousse

A lovely mousse familiar from NAMIKI667's afternoon tea that looks like real strawberries. The Japanese black tea mousse is filled with strawberry jelly, coated with a lustrous coating of raspberries, and fresh herbs resemble the stem. We have created this dessert for a most realistic appearance.

Chestnut Mont Blanc

The natural sweetness of chestnuts fills your mouth with this royal Mont Blanc topped with rich Aso chestnut cream and slow cooked chestnut peel. Enjoy the crispy meringue made with organic sugar and Amakusa salt as an accent.

Orecchiette alla Norma with Kumamoto Red Eggplant and Colorful Tomatoes

The sauce, made with freshly fragrant Kumamoto red eggplants and tomatoes, is tossed with “orecchiette,” a short, earlobe-shaped pasta, giving it a rich flavor. The sauce is finished with Kumamoto colorful tomatoes, cherry mozzarella and herbs.

Salty Red

This frozen cocktail is a twist on the classic tequila-based “margarita” cocktail, using Kumamoto watermelon. The salt on the rim of the glass enhances the sweetness and flavor of the watermelon.
Non-alcoholic options are also available.
