Autumn MANPUKU Afternoon Tea

A new type of afternoon tea offering a taste of autumn in Japan is now available!

A hearty afternoon tea that will leave you "manpuku"; full and satisfied.
The theme is autumn in Japan, highlighting food such as fish and hojicha (roasted green tea), with the addition of newly harvested rice as an accent to the typical autumn tastes of sweet potato, chestnut and pumpkin.

Liole's Rice Ball Mousse    
Rice from Gihee VIII, a long-established rice restaurant in Ginza, is used to make this mousse, cooked with organic vanilla from Madagascar, which has a mellow aroma. Inside the mousse is a sweet and sour raspberry julée that resembles pickled plums and to finish the look, a bamboo charcoal crepe that resembles nori (seaweed), is wrapped around the mousse.

Mede Tai Ice Cream Monaka
This ice cream monaka is inspired by the image of the auspicious sea bream, which is in season in autumn. The sea bream-shaped monaka is filled with rich sweet potato cream and vanilla parfait.

Chocolate Mushrooms    
Bonbon chocolates flavored with vanilla and black tea are combined with meringue that looks like a stem. Enjoy the cute appearance and elegant taste of chocolate.

Panna cotta with Kaga-bo hojicha green tea jelly
Panna cotta made with Kaga-bo hojicha tea from Kanazawa, characterized by its deep flavor and elegant aroma, is combined with a Kaga-bo hojicha jelly in a simple yet rich dish.

Japanese Chestnut Mont Blanc
Hazelnut dough is squeezed with whipped cream and Japanese chestnut cream to create a sweet autumnal treat that lets you experience the natural sweetness of chestnuts.

Baked Apple Cream Puff
These cream puffs combine the rich flavor of baked apple paste and caramel with custard. The cinnamon flavored cream topping enhances the baked apple custard cream.

Muscat Tart
This gorgeous tart is made with a moist, almond-filled dough, topped with rich custard cream and fresh, sweet muscat.

Rice Ball with Chestnut Rice
Rice cooked with chestnuts, seasoned gently with dashi broth and soy sauce, is prepared in an easy-to-eat rice ball. Roasted white sesame seeds are used to add a savory accent.

Tokyo Edo Sweet Miso Soup
This soup is made with Tokyo-produced Edo miso and kombu dashi (kelp broth). Filled with autumnal ingredients such as mushrooms and sweet potato gnocchi, this dish will leave you "manpuku" and satisfied.
